Honors

This breed has been developed through the guidance and love of a great many people. There are people, animals and herds that appear repeatedly in discussions, pedigrees and books. There are also children who have already demonstrated in their young lives their love for the Nigerian dwarf goat, and in whose hands the breed will be shaped in the future.

To launch NDGenes.com we're compiling a list of Legacy Goats, Innovator Breeders and Futurity Youth who fit these descriptions. We invite you to help build the list. This first year we'll be adding names until the end of 2006. Starting in 2007 additional names will be added on September 1, the official launch date for NDGenes.com. Share your knowledge, experience and judgement in compiling this recognition list. Criteria are explained on each of the appropriate pages. We reserve the right to make the final decisions as to who is placed on the Honors List, but will consult with other breeders as well.
