Glossary of Terms/Abreviations
ARMCH = Advanced Registry Master Champion, either a
MCH who has
earned a *D on 305 day test, or a MCH who's offspring has earned it for
him.
MCH = Master Champion, 3 GCH in AGS Shows with at least 2 being unrestricted.
Restricted Leg = A GrCh title won as a junior doe, or an unproven buck,
or a leg won as a Reserve Grand Champion
*D = a doe who has met AGS minimum DHI requirements,
OR has 3 daughters who have reached
their DHI minimums,
OR 2 sons who have reached +S levels,
OR 2 daughters with *D's and a son with
+S
#D's = Number refers to the number of continuous generations of does
reaching AGS DHI levels
S = a buck who has at least 3 daughters who have reached *D out of 3
different dams
OR has 2 *D daughters and 1 +S son
OR has 2 +S sons
*S = an inherited title for a buck who's dam is a *D AND his sire is
+S buck,
OR his dam is a *D and his paternal
granddam is a *D and paternal Grandsire is a +S.
++ S = a buck who has at least 3 daughters who have reached *D levels,
born out of three different dams,
AND has at least 2 +S sons
++*S = A buck who's dam is a *D and sire is +S AND has three daughters,
out of 3 dams, who have reached *D
status AND has 2 +S sons.
PGCH = NDGA - A doe who has won 3 different Grand Championships,
OR
a buck who has won 4 different
Grand championships
CH - ADGA - An animal who has won 3 Championships at ADGA shows
LA = Linear Appraisal - An ADGA evaluation program that can be repeated
annually. Often done
on an entire line of goats.
Classification - An AGS evaluation program that is done once, on
an individual goat
CH - ADGA Show Champion ( 3 Wins)
GCH - (ADGA Champion Doe who has also earned her DHIR star)
+GCH - (Buck who's earned his CH and has earned his +B rating)
*B (*B and *M on butterfat & milk) son of a *B buck and *M doe
who has earned her star on both butterfat and milk
+B (buck whose offspring have reached ADGA DHIR minimums)

E = Excellent
V= Very Good
+= Good Plus
G = Good
F= Fair
P = Poor
