Heights vs. Production Records
Each of the following tables is a graph of the Top 10 milkers for the
year noted.
As you can see, there is a section of the graph where the majority of Top
Ten milkers land, within the height standard. Interestingly enough, it is
not at the upper end of the height standard. A few are near 22" but
nearly all are safely below that mark. This is just a place to start looking
at the true correlation between height and production. Note: the animal's
names are not noted. In addition, an "NH" notation means that
the animal's height was not recorded.
